Astrology - Part 3!

http://www.astrosociety.org/education/astro/act3/astrology3.html

Some nice points:

Are all horoscopes done before the discovery of the three outermost
planets incorrect?
Pluto was discovered in 1930, Uranus in 1781. Are they to be taken into account? Yes, No? Why, why not?

If the astrological influence is carried by a known force, why do
the planets dominate?
"...the obstetrician who delivers the child turns out to have about
six times the gravitational pull of Mars and about two thousand
billion times its tidal force."

If astrological influence is carried by an unknown force, why is
it independent of distance?

If astrological influences don't depend on distance, why is there
no astrology of stars, galaxies, and quasars?

The URL also has a bunch of references that indicate that astrology doesn't work.

couple of pts... (based on my knowledge ... which is not so credible!)

1) the astro positioning at the time of birth does effect in the present situation... slightly complicated but they effect differently to different ppl based on again their birth time and position... Qs might be asked is what happens when ppl in today's gen travel a lot!!!

2) according to hindu mythology (which is defenitely more ancent than the discoveries made by scientists) talks about the nav-grahas... which is what is represented as the nine planets...
just because it was officially agreed upon by the western world that there exists more planets in the solar system it doesn't mean they were in-existant.

though i agree to your point on effect of ppl around (along with their gadgets) effecting birth - theoretically speaking they do have... infat negetive and that's why astro is failing more often than not these days...
